# How can I manage push notifications on my phone? - iOS

In order to view or edit your notification settings, please go to your **Settings** and then to **Notification** **Settings**. There you can activate/deactivate the options in question turning the toggle on or off.

**Calendar reminders:** In order to remove these, please remove them manually from your phone calendar. The removal cannot be steered from our settings.

**In order to allow push notifications on your device outside the app:**

1. Make sure that your iPhone settings allow push notifications. You find this setting under **Settings -> Notifications** and then under **Lifesum -> Notifications.**
2. Make also sure that you are allowing **Background App Refresh** on your iPhone. This setting can be found under **Settings** -> **General** in your device settings.
