Shopping List
The shopping list functionality is currently available for all our Meal Plans.
What does 'shopping list' feature provide?
Android: The shopping list is a help for you in the grocery store, it mirrors the meals and ingredients you have in the meal planner. If you add more days you will see more items in this list and vice versa. A red dot on the shopping list icon indicates that you have new items in it.
iOS: The shopping list is a help for you in the grocery store, it mirrors the ingredients you have added from the recipes chosen. If you add more recipes you will see more items in this list and vice versa.
Share shopping list
You are able to share the shopping list with other people or to your notes app on your device.
iOS: You can share data to iOS native apps like e.g. Messages, Mail and Notes, and any other app that supports the format. You find the option to share in the shopping list view in the top right corner.
Android: You can share data to Android apps like e.g. Messages, Mail and Keep Notes, and any other app that supports the format (plain text format). You find the option to share in the shopping list view in the top right corner.
How can I add more days to the shopping list?
Android:
- Locate the Meal Plan under the Diary view.
- Press "Meal Planner".
- Here you can edit and view the upcoming meals in your Meal Plan. You can also add more days to your Meal Plan by pressing "Show More" when scrolling down.
- Doing so will add more days of ingredients to the Shopping List.
Note: You locate your Shopping List by going back to the Diary and by pressing "Shopping List" on the Meal Plan card.
iOS:
- Locate the Meal Plan under the Programs/Diets tab in the app.
- Press the "Shopping Cart" icon next to the meal in order to add the ingredients to your Shopping List.
- Do so for more days by scrolling down in the list and press to add all the recipes you want to shop for.
Note: You locate your Shopping List by pressing the "Shopping Cart" icon in the top left corner of the same screen.
Format of the shared list
We are sending a certain data format (plain text) of the shopping list and any app that is able to read it can pick it up and share it.
These apps are e.g. Messages, Mail, and Notes on iOS and Messages, Mail, and Keep Notes on Android.
