How to Track Exercises in the Lifesum App - iOS
Tracking your exercises in the Lifesum app helps you stay on top of your fitness goals by keeping a record of your physical activity and its impact on your overall health.
You can track exercises in Lifesum using four different methods:
- *Automatic Tracking with Apple Health*
Connect your Lifesum account directly to Apple Health. You can also sync to all the major fitness apps via Apple Health, such as Google Fit, Garmin Connect & Runkeeper etc.
- *Select Exercises from the Training List*
Use the app’s built-in exercise database to track your activity.
- *Use Self-Created Exercises in Favorites*
Track custom exercises you’ve created and saved under Favorites.
- *Manually Add Burned Calories*
Enter the number of calories burned directly into the app.
Detailed Instructions
- *Automatic Tracking via Apple Health*
- Go to *Settings* > *Automatic Tracking*.
- Press 'Activate' in order to connect to Apple Health.
- Follow the instructions to complete the setup.
- *Track Exercises from the Standard Training List*
- Open your *Diary* and tap *"+"* (either at the bottom menu or next to the "Exercise" card).
- Select *Exercise* and then tap *Exercise List*.
- Scroll through the list to find your activity.
- Swipe the exercise to the right to track it directly, or tap it to edit the duration before adding it to the Diary.
- Tap *Add to Diary* to save it.
- *Track Exercises Using Favorites*
- Open your *Diary* and tap *"+"* (either at the bottom menu or next to the "Exercise" card).
- Select *Exercise* and then tap *Favorites*.
- Locate your custom exercise.
- Tap the exercise you want to add.
- Tap *Add to Diary* to save it.
- *Manually Add Burned Calories*
- Open your *Diary* and tap *"+"* (either at the bottom menu or next to the "Exercise" card).
- Select *Exercise* and then tap *Calories*.
- Enter a title for your activity and the number of calories burned.
- Tap *Add to Diary* to save it.
These methods make tracking exercises in Lifesum flexible and convenient!
