How to connect to and sync with Health Connect - Android

Connect to Health Connect in order to sync your exercise data to Lifesum and your nutrition data to your connected health apps. With Health Connect installed on your Android device you can sync your exercise and food data from Lifesum to other apps in an easy way.

**How do I connect Lifesum to Health Connect? **

This can be done by following these steps:

1. Go to the Diary/Progress tab.
2. Go to your Profile in the top right corner.
3. Go to Settings in the top right corner.
4. Go to Automatic Tracking.
5. Select Health Connect and follow the instructions.

**Which apps does currently work with Health Connect?**

Currently, these are some of the apps you can sync to Lifesum via Health Connect:

• Samsung Health
• Fitbit
• Google Fit
• Oura

**What data is it possible to import/export to or from Health Connect?**

**Import:**

• Exercises
• Total calories burned
• Steps tracked

**Export**:

• Nutrition (tracked food)
• Hydration (tracked water)

**How do I connect an app via Health Connect? **

If you want to connect the exercise or health app you are using to Lifesum via Health Connect you can do so. How this is done varies a bit depending on which app you want to use, here are some examples:

How to sync Google Fit to Health Connect:

1. Open **Google Fit**.
2. Tap **Profile**.
3. Go to **Settings**.
4. Go to **Health Connect setting**s.
5. Go to **Manage data and access**.
6. Go to **Connected apps**.
7. Turn on **Sync Fit with Health Connect**.

1. Open **Samsung Health**.
2. Go to **Settings**.
3. Select **Health Connect.**
4. Tap **Get started.**
5. Select and approve the data you want to share with Health Connect.
