The Lifesum watch app for Apple - How does it work?

With the Lifesum iOS watch app you can get an overview of your daily progress without having to pick up your phone.

**The watch app offers three main features: **

  1. *Dashboard*

Get an overview of your daily progress.

  1. *Water Tracking*

Track your water intake directly in the app.

  1. *Settings*

Adjust the watch settings.

**How the main features work: **

*Dashboard*

  1. Get an overview over your tracked calories and macros with clear visuals.
  2. Get an overview of your daily exercise progress and the goal you have set up in Apple Health.

Note that this section does not work unless you are using the app at the same time. It will then be greyed out.

**Water **

  • View and track water to reach your daily water goal.

*Settings*

Here you will find three new options:

  1. *Water Settings*

  • Set your daily water goal.
  • Adjust the size of every glass/bottle you add.

  1. *Unit System*

  • Select which unit system you would like to use in the watch app.

  1. *Sign out*

  • The option to sign out from your account in the watch app.

*Other features and functionalities worth mentioning:*

  • You can create your Lifesum account directly in the app.
  • The app is localised in all the languages we support in the app, and the shown language is based on your Watch Language.
  • The unit system will be mirroring the setting you have set in the app. This can also be edited in the Watch app.
  • Calories left will be based on the remaining calories in the app.

If you created your account in the app with Facebook sign in you will be automatically signed into the watch app.

If you have updated Lifesum to a version newer than 12.0.0(released in 2020) you will no longer be able to use the watch app if you are using an app that does not support Watch OS7 or later.
